Blondshell

Crescent Ballroom 11/10

On November 10th, the New York-born indie rocker Blondshell launched the second leg of her tour at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix. With a packed house, opening band She's Green started the night off with their angelic voices and powerful instrumentals that had the crowd head banging.

Blondshell, also known as Sabrina Teitelbaum, was up next. Playing a total of 17 songs, the crowd's excitement to see her never died down. Opening the show with “23’s A Baby, Teitelbaum never had a dull on stage moment, whether dancing around to her songs or talking to the crowd; her energy fueled the crowd. “Sepsis was clearly a fan favorite, with everyone singing along without missing a single lyric. “Veronica Mars” was another favorite because of the band's instrumentals and amazing guitar solo that took place.

Halfway into the set, the crowd lit up in excitement when Teitelbaum announced she was going to play an unreleased song, which she then followed by covering Addison Rae’s hit song “Diet Pepsi”.  Her performance of “Tarmac had the crowd tossing their heads back and forth in rhythm with the song’s beat.

Before playing “Kiss City, which fans thought was going to be her last song, she teased an encore, saying, “if fans screamed loud enough they might get one”. Not even a second after the song ended, the venue filled with roaring screams, which undoubtedly earned an encore.

The encore of “Event Of A Fire and “Saladended the night in a perfect way, leaving the audience feeling both satisfied and wanting more.
