Ceremony Festival

Nashville, TN

Ceremony Fest Nashville was nothing short of memorable, and if you didn’t make it this year, here are all of the reasons you SHOULD make it next time. Ceremony Fest did an outstanding job at showcasing up and coming artists with more well established artists and created the perfect atmosphere for alternative, rock, and emo music.

This event was held at the famous Cannery Hall, which features three stages in different areas, the perfect setup for an all-day festival indoors. While it was a very tight schedule, I found time to make it to each set throughout the day, and I’m thankful I did.

Many of the performances that took place were high-energy and involved crowd participation, such as the crowd surfing that occurred during Sueco’s set!

Live shows weren’t the only thing available at Ceremony Fest; you could also find things like food vendors, a tattoo parlor, merch tables, and even a live art creation space! All of which I took advantage of, and you should too!

I would highly recommend attending Ceremony Fest if you love alternative, rock, or emo music, enjoy discovering new artists, seek out a festival that’s more than just music, and like high-energy and immersive live shows that feature chaos.

If I had to sum it up, Ceremony Fest is quickly becoming an alternative staple in Nashville compared to the usual country music-dominated city. For fans of alternative music, you should expect much more than “just” a concert. For more casual listeners, go in with open ears and expect to leave with a newfound love for the alternative community.
