Sold out and seismic. From Ashes to New brought their incredible talent to Sayreville, New Jersey this week on November 8th, marking one of Starland’s best nights in history. A sold out show and a stacked lineup only fueled the excitement as fans packed into the venue on Saturday night, clad in FATN merch, ready for the night ahead.

The night started with three electrifying bands, Magnolia Park, Until I Wake, and Not Enough Space. Each captivating the room in their own signature way, proving to be the perfect openers for the evening.

From Ashes To New’s performance was nothing short of a masterpiece, and Starland was the perfect venue to bring the action to. Coming to the stage with a warm welcome from the audience, the band explosively launched into “New Disease”, igniting a non-stop, perpetual wave of crowdsurfing amongst the fans. As each fan got carried out of the pit, they got the legendary experience of being face to face with members and holding their hands, giving them the adrenaline rush they’d be chasing for the rest of the show. Without missing a beat, the band instantly followed the opening song with two more high-intensity tracks, “Nightmare” and “My Fight”

The band's lineup includes frontman Matt Brandyberry, the founder and longest standing member of the band, vocalist Danny Case, guitarist Lance Dowdle, drummer Matt Madiro, and bassist Jimmy Bennett. Each member brings their own unique style and identity to the band and its sound, drawing in a multitude of different fans. Every faction got a taste of what they were hoping for, with the setlist spanning all of FATN’s discography and genre styles.

Fan favorites including “Hate Me Too”, “Through It All” and “Dead to Me” had the crowd cheering and uncontrollable, with hands raised for every lyric. The band made sure to express their gratitude for their audience, and Brandyberry delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting his story and growth over the years, admitting how much he loves his fans and how much the band has changed his life, something that was undeniably evident throughout their whole show. Energy that raw and emotional can’t be faked, and fans could feel how genuinely dedicated Brandyberry and the rest of the band was to their craft.

Closing out their set with “Panic” was the perfect ending to the 15-song set, allowing fans one last chance to soak up their euphoria and scream at the top of their lungs. From Ashes to New’s show felt like lightning in a bottle, a perfect night for both the band and fans.
