My name is Jackie Tanner, I am a Kansas City based photographer with a deep love of music and the goal to capture the energy that exists between an artist and their audience. I shoot on film and digitally. 

Music has always been extremely important aspect of my life. Music allows us all to to process emotions, connect with fellow fans, and to understand different perspectives. For me, concert photography is a way to capture those feelings, it’s a way to translate the emotion of a song into a single frame. I also aim to highlight not just performances, as well as the artists behind them, their talent, their vulnerability, and their impact on those watching through portraiture.

I’m currently expanding my concert and artist portfolio, I’m always looking to connect with musicians, creatives, and people who believe in the power of artist centered photography.
