Quarters

live at Amos Southend

On April 14, 2026, with city lights glowing through the windows, playing at Amos Southend was Quarters, along with Trophy Wife and Malice K.

Quarters (formally known as Quarters of a Change) is a rock band from New York City formed in 2017. The band's lineup features lead vocalist Ben Roter, guitarist Jasper Harris, and drummer Attila Anrather. Each member of the band brings an electric energy creating a static feeling in the crowd.

Quarters started their show with “EZ” and a few others leading up to the number one fan favorite song. As they played the number one song, “KIWI”, fans were so excited to hear that nostalgic riff played by Harris. The band's North American tour featuring their third album, I HOPE THIS ISN'T THE END OF THE WORLD, is coming to an end soon, with only three dates left. The album dropped March 13, 2026 and is becoming a hit, with singles “PERFECT WORLD” and “HEADLIGHT” leading the success. A little fun fact is that they recorded the new album in 4 different quarters of the world: New York, South Carolina, California, and Austria.

Fog and dreamy lighting appeared as Quarters set a lugubrious tone for the fans to be in their feels. Roter performing “WHAT IS FATE” reflects on thinking that this was fate but in reality it was all lies and losing trust. Something many of us could relate to.

After a brief moment of desolate songs Harris resumes shredding it on the guitar by channeling “Rift”. It’s personally one of my favorite songs, as the Quarters pour so much talent and emotion into it. The energy makes listeners want to jump around and lose themselves in the sound.

From playing iconic ‘90s to early 2000s rock covers in high school, like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and The Strokes, to touring all across the states using their own noise, Quarter’s journey is an accomplishment that will inspire others for years to come.

As fans headbanged and jumped around throughout the night, enjoying the company of friends and loved ones, the vibe in the room was truly immaculate. Quarters definitely left a big impact on their fans, and their concert is truly an unforgettable experience.
