Ribbit
Brass Monkey - Sardinia, Italy
The rain almost ruined the night, but they still managed to make everyone dance to their powerful music.
‘Ribbit’ is a rock band from Cagliari, Sardinia. They began as a cover band, reimagining songs from legends like Led Zeppelin or Lucio Battisti (and many more), giving their own twist to each
and every song - and now they’re writing their own, and they’re already proving just how strong their musical identity is!
Despite being young and new to the scene, they never disappoint and consistently deliver high-quality performances, always engaging with the audience in between songs.
Ribbit amazed every listener with their new single “Hand & Soul”, which they only perform during live shows - for now. They’re currently recording it, and fans can’t wait for it to drop on all major platforms.
The show was full of emotions and raw energy, especially during the final song when the crowd got closer to the band and started singing and screaming along.
The venue was really dark and the stage was continuously filled with smoke - but that allowed me to capture some really interesting moments and take some magical shots. Capturing a band like Ribbit through a lens is easy: they bring every frame to life. If they keep going at this pace, it won’t be long before they outgrow small venues and make waves far beyond Sardinia.
