After over 20 years of making music and performing together, the Lumineers have undoubtedly mastered putting on a magical and unforgettable show. The beloved folksy band brought their beautiful voices and incredible talent to Columbus, Ohio on September 30th 2025, filling the stadium with an unmatched energy on a warm Tuesday night. Beginning the show with “Same Old Song,” you could instantly see the excitement glow in the crowd's eyes and hear loud cheers vibrating throughout the stadium; a perfect display of the lively night that followed.
The Lumineers are a phenomenal example of how special live music can be. Wesley Schultz gave a passionate, heartfelt performance, and his captivating voice filled the stadium the moment he began to sing. Jeremiah Fraites showed how essential he is to the band, going back and forth from his guitar, drums, or piano the entirety of the show. The talented backing band, consisting of Lauren Jacobson (strings, piano ), Byron Isaacs (bass, guitar), Brandon Miller (guitar, percussion), and Stelth Ulvang (piano, keyboards, percussion), had an undeniable chemistry as they moved around the stage in seamless and captivating ways, smiling and singing to one another throughout the night.
Fan favorite tracks such as “Flowers In Your Hair,” “Ho Hey,” and “Ophelia,” had the crowd jumping with enthusiasm, turning to one another to absorb the energy of the moment, strangers becoming one with each other and the music. You could hear the beautiful harmonies of the fans singing every last word echo throughout the stadium. Wesley Schultz built connections with the crowd, reaching out from the stage and grabbing the hands of fans, and making his way throughout the crowd during “BRIGHTSIDE.” It was a beautiful display of his appreciation for the fans who hold their music so close to their hearts.
Even after the very last note rang out in the stadium, fans lingered, the palpable energy of the night still present as they slowly exited the stadium, some filling their pockets with confetti that covered the floor as a memento of the unforgettable night. From the upbeat songs that had fans dancing and smiling from ear to ear, to the slow and vulnerable songs that filled eyes with tears, there was no doubt that this was a night everyone in the crowd would remember.
