Arcy Drive, the rising indie rock band from Northport, New York, kicked off their cross-country Pit Tour in style with a sold-out show at Phoenix’s Crescent Ballroom on September 9th. The night began with opening band Foxtide, who got the crowd jumping and singing by performing their original songs along with hit cover songs such as "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield and "Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson. The crowd was energized, and eagerly anticipating an unforgettable night.

When Arcy Drive took the stage, the crowd erupted and began chanting Brooke's name, the band’s drummer, who was clearly a fan favorite. Arcy Drive electrified the audience, opening the show with "Under The Rug,” a song off their latest album, The Pit which inspired this tour. Nick Mateyunas, the vocalist/guitarist, and Austin Jones, the lead guitarist, performed astonishing solos that seamlessly transitioned into one of their hit songs, “They Don’t Dance,” which had the crowd in awe of their exceptional skills.

During their song "Thrift Store,” Nick jumped into the crowd and started crowd surfing, which was one of the many highlights of the night! Another stand out moment was the band's acoustic performance of “Time Shrinks”, when Brooke joined everyone at the front of the stage and played her cajon drum. Their encore consisted of two songs, including "Louie,” which was definitely the crowd’s favorite, ss they had been anxiously awaiting its arrival all night long. Before the song even started, you could feel the excitement in the air as the crowd exploded, jumping and screaming, Louie, repeatedly. The infectious sound of “Louie”, combined with the energy of the band, fueled endless crowd surfing from one end of the venue to the other until the music stopped.

Talking to the fans at the end of the show, Nick said it was his “favorite show of all time”. This sold-out show was a perfect way to start their tour, cementing a lasting impression on everyone who was fortunate enough to be a part of the evening. The contagious energy and unbridled excitement from the bands and the crowd made this tour stop unforgettable, leaving fans eagerly anticipating their return to Phoenix
